April full

Somehow, last month passed fast. A few times, I wanted to post an entry here but either didn't have the time or the motivation to.

The most memorable (not in a particularly pleasant way though) thing about April 2012 was my being heated up with high fever and bent over with gastroentritis. The first time since I was 'discharged with my mum' from hospital as an infant, I got registered at the Emergency Dept of TTSH. After having a finger stuck up my anus (and dug around a bit) and some slightly nasty injection, I was whisked to the obs room while a pack of IV Drip made its way into me. The final diagnosis? UTI, which brought along the awful gastroentritis.

4 days of MC later, I was eating and drinking better. And well, guess the rest was how the body conquered yet another battle that seems to come with higher frequency as the age goes its regular way up.

I think this is possibly the first Labour Day holiday in a long while, that I actually do not have to labour. The previous ones were usually packed with teaching, since the school semestral exams would be just in a couple weeks' time.

So, I went along with the boyfriend and his sister and p-BIL on a midnight screening of The Avengers last night, and got out of bed almost-noon. Something that hasn't happened for a long time.

The plan is to rot the day away. The question is, how?

I think I'd start with getting lunch first.
